Who we are
BerryAI ("we", "us") builds teams of AI agents for small businesses. We are based in London, UK, and we are the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact us about anything in this policy at [email protected].
What we collect
- What you tell us in the form: your name, email, business name, type and size of business, the goal and agents you picked, how you use AI today, and anything optional you add (phone, website or Instagram, timeline, the job you'd hand over first).
- How you found us: the campaign or link that brought you to the page (for example "instagram-ad"), if there is one.
- Basic technical data: our hosting provider handles your IP address and browser details to serve the page and protect it from abuse. We don't use this to identify you.
- Ad measurement data, only if you accept cookies: see "Cookies and tracking" below.
How we use it, and why we're allowed to
| What we do | Legal basis (UK GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Review your sign-up, reply to you and arrange a call if you asked for one | Legitimate interests: you asked us to get in touch, and we need your answers to do that properly |
| Send you emails about early access and BerryAI | Consent: the box you ticked. Unsubscribe any time |
| Measure which ads bring people to the page | Consent: only if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner |
| Keep records and protect the site from misuse | Legitimate interests and legal obligations |
We don't make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site. They only process your data on our instructions:
- Cloudflare: hosts the website, stores sign-ups in its database, and forwards email sent to [email protected].
- Google: our inbox (Gmail) and the fonts on this page (Google Fonts).
- Telegram: sends us an instant alert when someone signs up.
- Resend: sends our welcome and follow-up emails.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram): measures our ads, only if you accept cookies.
We never sell your data. We may share it if the law requires us to.
International transfers
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, for example in the US or EU. Where that happens, we rely on UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or equivalent safeguards to keep your data protected.
Cookies and tracking
The page works without any tracking cookies. If you switch between light and dark mode, your browser remembers your choice. That setting stays on your device and isn't sent to us.
If you click Accept on our cookie banner, we load the Meta Pixel. It tells Meta that you visited the page or signed up, so we can see which ads work and show them to similar people. If you click Decline, the pixel never loads. To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser and you'll be asked again.
How long we keep it
We keep sign-up details for up to 24 months after we were last in touch, unless you become a client (then our client terms apply) or ask us to delete them sooner. Unsubscribing stops our emails straight away. We keep a note of your email address only so we don't contact you again.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the data we hold about you
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your data
- stop or limit how we use it, or object to us using it
- send your data to you or another company in a common format
- withdraw your consent at any time. This doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Email [email protected] to do any of these. We'll reply within one month.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
We'll update this page if anything changes and show the new date at the top.
